Joint attack: According to Indian sources Indian and Nepali Maoists
have launched a coordinated attack on a police station in Bihar, India.
About 100 Maoists from Nepal were also involved in the attack, the Indian
police said. At least 21 people were killed in the gunbattle.

Separate movments: CPN- UML general secretary Nepal ruled out
dialogue and agreement with the king until the parliament is revived to
hold the election of a constituent assembly. The Maoists should be brought
to the mainstream. However, the Maoists and the political parties may stage
a protest movement separately even if the immediate collaboration with
the rebels is not possible. |

Gunbattles: Maoist rebels attacked a security checkpoint in Bardiya
district. At least five Maoist rebels and a soldier have been killed in
the encounter. A heavy gunbattle has erupted between the security forces
and Maoist rebels in Arghakhanchi district. 12 security personnel and 6
Maoist rebels have been killed in the gunfire, Army sources said.

No involvement : The spokesman of the CPN (M) Mahara has denied an
involvement of PLA forces in the attack security posts and banks in the
