» Kailali: Maoists picked up over 500 ex-Kamaiyas, or bonded labourers, from different parts of Kailali district in the west and took them to the central area of Kailali, where the Maoists have seized land from the local landlords.
» Kalikot: Maoists abducted over a hundred civilians from different parts of the  district. The civilians were taken to make them participate in military training.
» Dolakha: Maoists attack passenger bus in Mainapokhari. Several RNA soldiers, policemen and civilians have been shot dead. In the past time different incidents have been reported from this area. More than a year ago a passenger bus was hit by a Maoist led landmine near Mainapokhari. Last year Maoists have attacked a passenger bus transporting security personnel.

» Three major western donor organisations (Great Britain, Netherlands and Germany) have indefinitely suspended projects in western Nepal due to what they say are threats by Maoist rebels.
» Dolakha: Security forces launch search operation.
» Maoist top leader Prachanda: The CPN-Maoist leader was reiterating his commitment to 
settle the ongoing conflict in the country through dialogue and urged all concerned to seek a political solution.
» Rasuwa: Maoist rebels have killed the abducted chairman of District Development Committee of Rasuwa. The rebels had threatened him of physical action if he did not resign from his post.
» Dhading: Six security personnel and some Maoists were killed during a clash. The clash started after the Maoists attacked three RNA-trucks.
» Dhading: Several Maoist rebels have been killed in the exchange of fire with security forces. The clashes occurred oduring a routine security patrol. The incident took place a day after six soldiers and policemen were killed in an Maoist led ambush.

» Chitwan: Maoists detonated a bomb at the storeroom of Gaida Wildlife Resort located inside the Chitwan National Park. No human casualties were reported.
» Dang: Maoists led landmine exploded on Mahendra highway and injured several secuity personnel.
» Kaski: Maoist bomb exploded at the king's family owned Fishtail Lodge in Pokhara. No human casualties were reported.
» Kaski: Maoists took five prominent Ghandruk hoteliers hostage and killed two of them.
» Lalitpur: Maoists imposed blockade to eastern districts of Nepal.
