said Maoists are prepared to discuss with anyone of the world.

Democracy: U.N. envoy Lakhdar Brahimi called on King Gyanendra to restore
democracy quickly. "A solution of the ongoing conflict is needed urgently.
That solution rests on a return to constitutional order and multi-party
democracy and to end any hostilities," Mr. Brahimi said. He also urged
the Maoists to end violence and seek a peaceful resolution to a conflict.

Mediation: According to news sources, U.N. envoy Lakhdar Brahimi said
that it is no need for a UN mediation in Nepal. Days ago Maoist leader
Prachanda said that his party is in favour of an UN mediation in Nepal.
